On 28.10.2020 DALEX managing director Dipl. Ing. Georg Lichtenberg together with Dipl. Ing. Friedrich Mayinger (partner of DALEX) and Thomas Mayinger (both promoters of the Wirtschaftsjunioren) presented the company to local politicians and IHK representatives.

These included District Administrator Dr. Peter Enders, Berno Neuhoff (Mayor of the city of Wissen), Markus Rödder (Head of the Economic Development Agency VG Wissen), Oliver Rohrbach (Regional Managing Director of the IHK office), Max Rödder (Member of the Board of the Young Economists Sieg-Westerwald e.V.) and Lars Kober (Head of Economic Development Altenkirchen district).

Currently, managing director Georg Lichtenberg sees the company as well positioned.

"After the takeover of DALEX by a consortium of local investors in 2003, we have focused on resistance welding. However, we also cover almost all welding processes with appropriate partners. Our strength is that we develop and produce the desired special systems together with our customers".

During a tour of the production halls, the gentlemen were able to get an idea of DALEX's efficiency and high degree of innovation and were able to see some special systems for customers from a wide range of industries.

"You can see immediately that your motto is "class not mass". Every machine manufactured is a unique specimen. It gives you a real competitive advantage that makes you more robust against the effects of globalization," said District Administrator Dr. Enders at the end of the company visit.

For Mayor Berno Neuhoff, DALEX is one of the "Big Five" in Wissen and hopes that the company will continue to operate successfully at the Wissen site.
